Leak Adjustment Policy
The District has a policy in place to ease the financial difficulties after a customer has experienced a leak on their side of the water meter.
In order for the District to consider a reduction in a customer’s water bill, the customer must notify the District of the water leak within ten working days from the date the customer received their high water bill and the customer must repair the water leak within ten working days from the date the customer had knowledge of the water leak.
If you have experienced a leak that has met the criteria above, please download a copy of Resolution No. 1011 and a Leak Adjustment Form. Due to time restrictions, it is important that all paperwork is submitted for approval as soon as possible.
