2017 Poster Contest Winners

Last week at the May Board of Directors Special Meeting, North Coast County Water District honored the nine Pacifica elementary students who won the annual Water Awareness Poster Contest. Among those who received awards for the K-1st Grade Division were: 3rd Place: Patrick Da Silva, Grade 1, Sunset Ridge; 2nd Place: Angelina Vigil, Grade 1, Vallemar School; 1st Place: Jia Worobec, Kindergarten, Vallemar School. Winners of the 2nd Grade Division included: 3rd Place: Addison Loredo, Grade 2, Vallemar School; 2nd Place: Dane Grochowski, Grade 2, Vallemar School; 1st Place: Bodhi Veilleux, Grade 2, Vallemar School. Winners of the 3rd -4th Grade Division were: 3rd Place: Ailee Fujiki, Grade 4, Vallemar School; 2nd Place: Julian Zamora, Grade 3, Vallemar School; 1st Place: Gabrielle May, Grade 4, Vallemar School. The Board of Directors presented each winner with a framed certificate and art gift, acknowledging each winner’s creativity and style. The winning posters will be featured on the North Coast County Water District’s 2017-2018 wall calendar, available in August 2017.
