2016 Poster Contest Winners

Last month at the May Board of Directors meeting, North Coast County Water District honored the nine Pacifica elementary students who won the annual Water Awareness Poster Contest. Among those who received awards for the K-1st Grade Division were: 1st place:  Daneel Lukashev, 1st Grade, Vallemar School, 2nd place:  Ella Reuss, 1st Grade, Vallemar School, 3rd place:  Gianna Smith, Kindergarten, Ortega School. Winners of the 2nd-3rd Grade Division included: 1st place: Steven Candito, 2nd Grade, Ortega School, 2nd place:  Avery Ayers, 3rd Grade, Vallemar School, 3rd place:  Luis Miguel Manuel, 3rd Grade, Vallemar School. Winners of the 4th-5th Grade Division were: 1st place:  Allyson Boudreaux, 5th Grade, Ocean Shore School, 2nd place:  Idun Hymes-Ruzicka, 4th Grade, Vallemar School, 3rd place:  Atom Glover, 4th Grade, Pacifica Home School Program.

The Board of Directors presented each winner with a framed certificate and art gift, acknowledging each winner’s creativity and style. The winning posters will be featured on the North Coast County Water District 2016-2017 wall calendar, available in August 2016.
