About your Bill
Each customer's water meter is read bi-monthly, or every 60 days. Once read, a bill is sent to the customer for the number of units used during that period. One unit of water is measured as a CCF (One-hundred cubic feet) which is equivalent to 748 gallons. Please review our Rates and Fees page for more information on how your bill is calculated.
Bills are due on or before the due date specified on your billing statement. Delinquent accounts will be assessed a $10 late payment fee. In order to avoid the late fee, your payment must be received by the District by 5:00 pm on the date it is due.

Discontinuation of Water Service for Non-Payment
Under the guidance of Senate Bill 998 (SB 998), the Water Shutoff Protection Act, the District is required to provide a written policy for discontinuation of water service due to non-payment. We encourage customers who may be facing financial difficulties to contact our office to inquire about payment plans to manage past due balances. Customers who need to discuss options for averting discontinuation of water service for non-payment under the terms of this policy can call a Billing Representative at (650) 355-3462.
