Board of Directors Elections
At the March 18, 2020 Board of Director's meeting, the Board voted to change the North Coast County Water District's electoral system for members of the Board of Directors from at-large to zone elections beginning with the 2022 election. The District now uses a system based on five zones and has established zone boundaries and sequencing of the elections. Instead of voting for each available open seat on the Board of Directors, residents will now vote only for the candidates running within their zone. Elections will be held in zones A, B and E in 2022. Elections will be held in zones C and D in 2024.
