Drinking Water Awareness Month

colorEvery May, the North Coast County Water District celebrates "National Drinking Water Awareness Month." Conservation tools and reading material are made readily available at the office and through public appearances.

In addition, the District also has an annual Drinking Water Awareness Poster Contest for students of elementary age. The posters must depict a scene of the contest theme, along with a creative slogan or conservation message. The winning posters are made into a school year calendar for the community.
